PEER 1 launches online ads for A Million Hits: “Slacker”
Many of you know that I work for an Internet Infrastructure company by the name of PEER 1. If you’ve visited the PEER 1 home page lately, you’ve seen the arrows. If you’ve dropped by the PEER 1 Facebook page, you’ve seen the sumo wrestler. Today, PEER 1 is proud to launch a series of online videos that ask: Is YOUR business ready for a million hits?
All three ads were produced in a single high-energy day by the tremendously talented people at Rethink Communications.

PEER 1, the company that I work for, participated in the 24 Hours of Lemons endurance race in Kershaw, South Carolina last year. We will be participating in this event again this year at the No Problem Raceway in Belle Rose Louisiana, June 6-7.

PEER 1 Growing Pains: Episode 1
The parent company of ServerBeach, a local tech company here in San Antonio by the name of PEER 1 has created a video series of a couple attempting to start their own business. These videos show a humorous yet realistic view of what could happen, the problems that could arise, and the frustrations it can bring. They’ve just released episode 2 (see below video) of the series they call “Growing Pains” along with a pretty sweet $10,000 contest.

How to save gas, according to George Carlin
I have always loved George Carlin. He can be very abrasive and “in your face” about what he believes. Here is a quote from him that I found on a forum that I hang out on, I think it is an excellent idea!
Bush wants us to cut the amount of gas we use…The best way to stop using so much gas is to deport 11 million immigrants! That would be 11 million less people using our gas… The price of gas would come down…Bring our troops home from Iraq to guard the Border…When they catch an illegal immigrant crossing the border, hand him a canteen, rifle and some ammo and ship him to Iraq…Tell him if he wants to come to America then he must serve a tour in the military…give him a soldiers pay while he’s there and tax him on it…After his tour , he will be allowed to become a citizen since he defended this country…He will also be registered to be taxed and be a legal patriot…This option will probably deter illegal immigration and provide a solution for the troops in Iraq and the aliens trying to make a better life for themselves…If they refuse to serve, ship them to Iraq anyway, without the canteen, rifle, or ammo…problem solved…
